We are a small, senior, remote-first team. The models we build decide whether loans get approved and how patients get triaged — so we hire people who take that seriously.

How we work

Solenkn operates entirely remotely. We keep the team deliberately small and the bar deliberately high: everyone here has shipped production systems, and everyone writes. Machine Learning Engineer

Full-time · Remote

You will design, train, and productionize models for clients in banking and healthcare. The work spans feature pipelines, model development, and the validation evidence that regulated deployment demands. Strong Python, solid statistics, and the patience to document your reasoning are essential. Experience with credit risk, fraud, or clinical data is a real advantage but not a requirement.

What you will do

  • Build and validate models against client-defined performance and fairness criteria
  • Write reproducible training pipelines with full lineage from raw data to prediction
  • Contribute to model documentation that survives regulatory scrutiny

AI Governance Specialist

Full-time · Remote

You sit between the technical team and the client’s risk, compliance, and legal functions. Your job is to translate regulatory expectations into concrete engineering requirements — and to translate engineering decisions back into language an audit committee can act on. A background in model risk management, regulatory compliance, or internal audit is what we are looking for.

What you will do

  • Design governance frameworks: model inventories, risk tiering, review cadences
  • Draft and review model documentation, validation reports, and audit artifacts
  • Advise clients on emerging AI regulation and what it means for their portfolio

Client Delivery Lead

Full-time · Remote

You own the engagement from kickoff to handover. That means running the Frame phase workshops, keeping the build honest against scope, and making sure the client’s own team can operate what we leave behind. You have delivered technical projects into large organizations before and know the difference between a demo and a deployment.

What you will do

  • Run engagements through the five-phase model with clear milestones and artifacts
  • Manage stakeholder alignment across data science, risk, and business teams
  • Ensure every engagement ends with a working system and a team that can run it
